I arrived in Las Vegas in 1971. Soon afterwards attended school learning how to become a dealer. After learning to deal all the table games, I continiued to advance up the casino industry ladder becoming a casino manager. As a manager I successfully operated gaming tournaments. In 1993 I started The Dealers Employment Agency.
While operating Dealers Employment Agency, I decided that the dealers of Las Vegas needed a newsletter to keep them informed about issues relating to them. Hence, the birth of The Dealer's News.
At first this underground newsletter wasn't fully accepted by the industry. After a few years it became a staple of information for all the employees dedicated to the gaming industry. Presently, The Dealer's News is the only newsletter of its kind. It is now fully accepted by the gaming industry. All the general managers, casino managers, and dealers now welcome this publication each month.
The Dealers's News is distributed to a subscription base and to all the pits in the Las Vegas casinos monthly.
